The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an established career in the transportation transit and rail industry and have a successful track record with delivery of mega-transit/rail programs. This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with mega capital infrastructure transit/rail projects for our clients. The candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading transit/rail major pursuits and the delivery of major programs. Our expertise and global reach enable us to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients that pave the way for long-lasting benefits to society. **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Lead development and execution of significant rail/transit project pursuits and delivery + Establish relationships with BART, and other local agencies as Caltrain. + Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally + Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing and preparing transportation project teams. + Proven track record with large client account management, mega-project pursuits, and engineering/planning staff development + A desire to work with external contractors/consultants, AECOM’s other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + PE License required **Preferred Qualifications** + Over 10 years' experience in leading engineering projects with project management experience. + BSCE required in Civil Engineer + PE license in California. + Ability to scope/estimate rail/transit projects + Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience + Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction + Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role + Provide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management. **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
