About The Position
Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty License: Registered Nurse State License or Compact License Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: - Willingness to float to other units and hospitals - Solid foundation in general medicine and expertise in respiratory skills Description: The Pulmonary Unit is a 36-bed telemetry unit focused on diagnosing and treating a wide range of patients with respiratory disorders. Nurses in this area manage a 1:6 patient-to-nurse ratio. The team values the delivery of high-quality, specialized care for patients and their families suffering from various lung diseases or injuries. There is an emphasis on collaborative relationships with departments such as respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy. Candidates must be familiar with and able to work with the Meditech EMR system. Dress code requires wearing solid navy scrubs. The unit offers an option of 36 or 48 work hours per week.
