About The Position
ARMStaffing is looking for RN - PACU in Anchorage, Alaska
- Shift: 3x12 Days

Job Description:
As a Travel PACU RN, you’ll care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. You’ll monitor vital signs, manage pain and complications, and ensure safe, smooth transitions from surgery to discharge or inpatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess post-anesthesia patients for pain, consciousness, and complications
Administer medications, including pain relief and IV fluids
Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and recovery staff
Educate patients and families on post-op instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to protocols
Requirements:
Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred for pediatric PACU
Minimum 1 year of recent PACU, pre-op, or critical care experience
Strong post-op assessment and emergency response skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced recovery room environment
