Pay Rate: $22-35/hr. (depending on experience level)

Location: York, PA (Primarily Local Work, Some Overnights May be Required as Needed)

Description:

• Cannonball Recruiting is seeking multiple CDL-A Truck Drivers for a paving and excavating company located in York, PA.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required
• Requires a Class A and/or Class B and a current medical examiner's certificate
• Experience with Flat Bed or Low Boy is required
• Safely move and load various heavy equipment on and off of flatbed trailers
• Ability to sit for long periods of time and the ability to lift 50-75 pounds as needed, stand for long periods of time, and work in extreme hear or near hot asphalt
• Ability to drive around construction sites and tight spaces within city limits
• Ability to navigate to various job sites throughout any given day
• Communication with Foreman
• Time Management & Productivity

Job Duties:

• Daily Pre-trip inspection and post inspections
• Cleaning and maintaining the daily task to maintain the truck
• Material Transport: Haul aggregates, blacktop, and equipment between quarries, asphalt plants, and construction zones.
• Backing trucks safely into pavers or maneuvering through tight construction zones with low clearances.
• Site Support assist with manual labor, such as shoveling /raking/ brooming to finish edges and joints when work is needed
