Pay range: %2430.00 - %2440.87 / hour
Sign-on bonus: %2420,000 new hire sign-on bonus may be available (full-time only)
Shifts: 6:30am - 3:00pm, 7:00am - 3:30pm, 7:30am - 4:00pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm, 11:00am - 7:30pm, 2:30pm - 11:00pm, flexi/PRN

This new role will provide imaging support by responding to the specific needs of our surgical teams, where your skills will contribute to advancing medical imaging and transforming patient care. UAB Medicine’s surgical department is one of the largest in the country, with more than 60 state-of-the-art operating suites in multiple locations. This unique opportunity offers exposure to complex surgical procedures, such as percutaneous iliosacral screw (ISS) fixation, open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of the acetabulum, spine stimulator insertion, and percutaneous spine procedures. Job Description
Under the direction of a Radiologist and the Imaging Manager, to work exclusively in the OR to perform radiological procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. To perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. To assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. May be assigned duties as an interim supervisor or instructor.im supervisor or instructor.
Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Currently registered as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR registered within one (1) year from date of hire for a new graduate required
