Underground Utility Laborer - Minot, ND
We are currently seeking skilled construction workers to perform a wide variety of manual duties supporting underground construction. Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities is preferred.

Job Duties
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact earth to grade specifications, using shovels and other equipment.
• Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools; distribute to appropriate locations, according to project plans.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate the movement of equipment.
• Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement.
• May operate light equipment, air compressors, pneumatic air tools, and other equipment as necessary.
• Operate motor vehicles during travel to/from job sites.

Requirements /Qualifications:
• Requires limited knowledge of techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Must have an understanding of the hazards and precautions of the trade.
• Positive attitude, hard work ethic, and a priority for safety.
Physical demands:
• Climb up and down ladders, machinery, and other objects.
• Lift, dig and concentrate on a specific task.
• Push, pull, reach, and frequently carry objects such as tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Load and unload tools and equipment on the truck.
• Coordinate movement of eyes, hands, fingers, and feet.
• Work at different heights.
• All work is performed at remote locations; driving and sitting are required.
• All work is outdoors, subject to inclement weather conditions.

Compensation:
The compensation package is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Must possess current valid driver license and pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
