Job duration- Long term contract
Pay Rate- $41.48/hr.
• POSITION SUMMARY:
The POA Analyst enhances the client experience by reviewing and approving a client’s Power of Attorney document.
The POA Analyst will also support the Entity Review team as needed. The POA Analyst is responsible for understanding firm policies and Project Review policies and procedures.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review and approve Power of Attorney documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Work closely with our legal and underwriting teams during loan origination to meet guidelines.
• Work with Underwriters and Relationship Managers to aid in a timely manner.
• Provide high quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Cross-train to assist with additional job functions within the division during periods of peak volumes or deadlines.
Education and/or Experience
• 5 to 8 years’ experience preparing mortgage closing documents and or processing mortgage loans or related experience.
• Title and/or real estate closing experience is a plus.
• Must have a working knowledge of mortgage documents and an understanding of the mortgage life cycle.
• High School Diploma/Equivalency.
• College degree preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of Power of Attorney documents.
• Understanding and analytical interpretation of legal contractual language.
• Knowledge and understanding of title commitments.
• Must have good decision-making skills and ability to research & show initiative in solving problems
• Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple & changing priorities.
• Demonstrate exemplary collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Computer skills must be familiar with how to navigate a Microsoft Windows environment and have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Adhere to turn time commitments while working in a high-volume environment.
• Must have excellent teamwork orientation and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• High level of Accuracy and Detail Oriented/multitasking.
