Position Summary

Join a hands-on survey team where your work directly contributes to critical infrastructure and development projects. In this role, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals to collect essential field data using advanced Trimble RTK/GPS technology and underground utility locating equipment.

️ What You’ll Do

  • Collect accurate field data during surveying and utility locating operations
  • ️ Operate Trimble RTK/GPS equipment and underground utility locating tools
  • ️ Create clear field sketches documenting completed work
  • ️ Interpret utility maps, construction plans, and as-built drawings
  • Work independently or alongside a survey crew to complete projects safely and efficiently

Requirements

What You Bring

  • ️ Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and following verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and eligibility for company insurance
  • Willingness to pass a drug screening and background check

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with electromagnetic multi-frequency locating tools
  • ️ Previous utility locating or survey field experience
  • ️ Strong sketching and field documentation skills
  • ️ Ability to read and interpret utility maps, plans, and construction drawings
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
