The Vehicle Maintenance Technician performs repair and preventive maintenance on diesel and gasoline engines, brake, fuel, electrical, exhaust, suspension, hydraulic systems, and vehicle computers. Work includes servicing cars, trucks, trailers, and mobile equipment using standard tools, diagnostic devices, and shop computers. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, maintaining detailed records, supervising and training staff, and working in a garage or outdoors. Qualifications include ASE certification, five+ years of experience, ability to lift heavy objects, and a valid driver’s license. The role may require working various shifts, overtime, and handling hazardous materials. Training is provided.
