This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, communicative, board-certified fellowship trained vitreoretinal surgeon with a can-do attitude to join our growing and busy well-established FIVE physician practice.

We are "privademic" - an academic-oriented retina/uveitis/ocular oncology practice located in coastal Virginia and North Carolina. We are affiliated with multiple training institutions including active engagement with our ophthalmology residents. Our research institute is active in basic science, investigator-initiated, and clinical trial research. NIH Mentor-supported protected academic time is available for the interested candidate.

All facilities are state-of-the art. Our practice of medicine and care delivery is designed on the premise of collaboration and Lean Six Sigma efficiency. We use MDIntellesys EHR. A new associate will have immediate clinical and surgical volume utilizing our efficient ASC, and be part of a positive, energetic, team-oriented culture. We have multiple offices, with all team members participating in travel for coverage.

Coastal Virginia is a beautiful place to raise a family with a low cost of living and great schools. The beaches are next door, with easy access to the mountains, historic Virginia, and a short drive to Richmond and Washington, D.C.

Benefits:

  1. Competitive compensation, bonus structure, and generous benefits package
  2. Seasoned leadership team
  3. Excellent career opportunity in a great location

We will be in attendance at ARVO, ASRS, AAO, and Retina Society this year to visit with candidates.
