This volunteer position begins around May 1st, 2026, and involves providing campground host services at a wilderness campgrounds.
Responsibilities include greeting campers, assigning sites, managing reservations, mediating conflicts, opening/closing gates, overseeing campground entry, reporting maintenance issues, performing minor repairs, mowing vacant sites, and enforcing park rules.
Volunteers must be on-site during check-in/out times, weekends, and holidays, conduct campground walkthroughs, and ensure cleanliness and safety.
Additional duties involve respectful communication, physical mobility, and timely task completion.
The city provides an RV pad, utilities, and a $200/month stipend; volunteers are responsible for personal utilities.
Requirements include a valid WA driver’s license, 18+ years, team coordination, and customer service skills. Preferred qualifications are campground experience and two years of customer service.
