VP, LSG Field Marketing and Demand Generation

As the Vice President of Life Science Group (LSG) Field Marketing and Demand Generation at Bio-Rad Laboratories, your day will be dynamic and multifaceted. You will be responsible for the Demand Generation strategy and tactics for the $1B+ LSG Business group. This will include campaign management, global field marketing and digital marketing strategy.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies to drive high-quality leads and revenue, while balancing long-term initiatives with short-term goals and overseeing multi-channel campaigns.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to optimize campaign performance and maximize ROI, integrating disparate data sources to track KPI and identify areas for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with sales, product, brand and marcom teams to ensure alignment and support for demand generation initiatives, navigating interdepartmental dynamics and coordinating joint efforts.
- Value Propositions and Messaging: Develop compelling value propositions and messaging that resonate with target audiences, differentiating the brand in a crowded market, and overseeing content creation and public relations efforts.
- Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing demand generation team, attracting and retaining top talent, managing team dynamics, and providing ongoing training and development opportunities.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred, with a focus on Life Sciences or Healthcare.
- Work Experience: 10-15 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5-7 years in leadership roles within Demand Generation, specifically in the Life Sciences, Diagnostics or Medical Device industries.
- Strategic Expertise: Proven success in developing and executing demand generation strategies targeting healthcare professionals and decision-makers, achieving measurable growth in lead generation and revenue.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in marketing analytics, ROI measurement, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and familiarity with regulatory requirements in the Life Sciences sector.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership qualities to coach and manage teams, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and product management.
