Job Summary

The VP of Sales & Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding LTS's market share within the North American region. This role requires leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team, cultivating strong customer relationships, and developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious business objectives.

This is a full-time role with remote/hybrid potential.

Preferred locations are within driving distance of St. Paul, MN or West Caldwell, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, acquire new business, and expand LTS's customer base in North America.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the North American Sales & Business Development team.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into successful partnerships.
  • Take a lead role in contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and maximizing profitability.
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Effectively communicate LTS's value proposition to key stakeholders in the North American market.
  • Contribute to the development of global commercial strategies and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Track and report on key sales metrics, including new business leads, pipeline development, and revenue performance.
  • Develop and present monthly sales forecasts and contribute to the annual sales plan.
  • Actively participate in the North American Leadership Team, providing strategic input and oversight for the region's business.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulatory standards (e.g., cGMP, FDA, DEA).

Your Background/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Business.
  • 10+ years of successful sales or business development experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical process technologies.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong contract negotiation skills, including experience with commercial and development agreements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the entire business acquisition process, from lead generation to project development.
  • Proven ability to position products and services effectively against competitors.
  • Experience developing and implementing customer-centric solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).X
