WAREHOUSE OPERATOR I - ALABASTER, AL

We are passionate and excited about how we can develop and utilize new technologies to shape and inspire changes within an ever-growing marketplace. As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Operator I to join our Alabaster Team.

You will be responsible for:

This role is essential in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, supporting both production and customer delivery operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

You will play a key part in maintaining high operational standards and ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately, helping preserve product quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Receive, check, and process incoming raw materials and finished goods.
  • Prepare finished materials for customer dispatch in line with strict quality and handling procedures.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders to agreed standards.
  • Safely store materials in designated warehouse locations while maintaining stock control systems.
  • Ensure all warehouse processes comply with internal procedures and safety standards.
  • Complete daily and weekly routine inspections.
  • Identify and report anomalies, incidents, and near misses using established processes.
  • Prepare and present all necessary dispatch documentation (including DGNs and Tremcards) to haulers.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurately completed, returned, and filed to support invoicing and inventory tracking.
  • Assist with scheduled inventory counts.
  • Support Warehouse Management and Site Accountant as required.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or materials handling role (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of SAP (Materials Management module) is desirable.
  • Understanding safety, health, and environmental (SHE) practices.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • A reliable team player with good communication skills.
  • Forklift license preferred.

  • Adhere to all site-specific health and safety regulations.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure safe handling and storage of materials.

Education and Certifications:

  • H.S. Education.
  • Forklift license preferred.
