Schedule Days : Monday - Friday 

Position Status: Full Time (40 hrs week) 

Job Summary:

Research, extract, verify, perform analysis, and report on Warranty data and programs.

Essential Functions:

  1. Performs data analysis of enterprise product problems to support Caterpillar or other vendor participation in costs.
  2. Monitors PSP (Product Support Programs) and PIP (Product Improvement Programs) overages from an enterprise financial aspect.
  3. Researches, extracts, and verifies data to produce and distribute warranty related reporting.
  4. Provides top warranty contributor reporting, as requested by customer or model.
  5. Researches and quantifies machine hardship cases utilizing hardship exception reporting and data extraction/
  6. Performs expense analysis for various warranty accounts.
  7. Provides executive and operational metrics for management.
  8. Collects and analyzes data to support warranty matrix decisions.
  9. Collects and analyzes Warranty Reserve Data to provide forecasting and report account health.
  10. Handles warranty related purchase order requests.
  11. Works safely at all times.  Adheres to all applicable safety policies.  Complies with all company policies, procedures and standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Provides additional data extraction and analysis as needed.
  2. Enhances efficiencies in warranty processing.
  3. Prepares Service Warranty Efficiency reporting.
  4. Performs additional administrative responsibilities as required by supervisor.
  5. Works within and promotes corporate values.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  1. Must be able to interpret and analyze data.
  2. Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  3. Cognos, Impromptu, or MSQuery proficiency preferred.
  4. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively.
  5. DBS experience.
  6. Ability to maintain consistent attendance.

Education and Experience:

  1. Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  2. Minimum of 2 year degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  3. Prior experience with data extraction and reporting
  4. Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
