Precision Custom Components (PCC) is seeking a talented Welder to join our team. This is an on-site position reporting to our manufacturing facility in York, PA.
At PCC, you'll be part of a skilled team that delivers high-quality, made-to-spec components where precision, reliability, andcustomer focus matter. Whether you're driving results in the office or making them happen on the shop floor, you'll collaborate across departments to solve problems, support efficient operations, and help ensure every component is completed safely, accurately, and with precision!
This position is part of our Collective Bargaining Unit (union).
Pay: $24.65 - $35.47 per hour ($2.00 shift differential for 2nd shift positions).
Essential Duties and Qualifications for the Welder:
Weld with manual, semi-automatic, and mechanized welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, Pulsed)
Welds must pass various NDE criteria such as VT, MT, RT, UT
Entrance weld tests will be VT and RT inspected
Have the ability to use measuring instruments of the trade (scales, tape measure, radius gages, etc.).
Must be able to work without direct supervision and direct co-workers.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints work inspection packages.
Must be able to produce products to PCC's quality standards.
Good communications skills - ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
Good attendance.
US Citizenship required at time of hire.
Must be able to work Monday-Friday from 3:30PM to 11:55PM
