This position requires the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech and US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Responsibilities include performing routine welding, repairs, and alterations, inspecting welds for quality and compliance, and working with engineering on R&D projects and redline drawings. Approximately 50% of the work involves prototyping welding. The role involves measuring parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges, interpreting complex drawings, and completing work orders.

The candidate will perform standard hand and machine welding, build up surfaces, repair cracks, and ensure equipment is maintained and operational. Assistance with process trials and specialized tasks is also part of the role. Physical activities include bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of TIG welding experience with stainless steel and steel, and a Level 1 Welding Certificate (GTAW Stainless Steel). Preferred qualifications include manufacturing or aviation industry experience and an associate's degree in welding.
