- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metals
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Set up welding equipment based on material and position
- Use fixtures and inspection tools to ensure quality
- Perform dimensional and cosmetic weld inspections
- Complete work on schedule and pass certification tests
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow company policies
Requirements include high school diploma or GED, 1+ years welding experience, GTAW certification, blueprint reading skills, and proficiency with inspection tools and Microsoft Office.
