Job Overview
J.B. Interiors Drywall, Inc., an established commercial drywall company operating throughout Southern California and based in Huntington Beach is looking to hire a skilled working Metal Framer and Drywall Foreman.
Pay determined upon experience and trial. We are looking for an experienced working FOREMAN only. Must be Bilingual. (English/Spanish)
Must be responsible for reading plans for new commercial projects and laying out for new steel stud framed walls. Oversee daily operations of job sites, making sure work is completed efficiently, safely and per plan. Must manage crews, quality control and maintain productivity to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
Shift & Schedule
- 8 hour shift
- Expected Hours: 40 per week
- Overtime
- Day Shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Night shift as needed

Qualifications
- Must have 4 years commercial steel stud framing and drywall experience as a FOREMAN.
- Must have all tools of the trade.
- Competent reading blueprint plans and laying out.
- Leadership experience with the ability to direct and motivate crews while ensuring efficiency.
- Time management skills.
- Clear communication with General Contractors, Superintendents and Project Managers.
- Able to operate and oversee the use of lifts, power tools and construction equipment.
- Identifying and mitigating hazards to prevent accidents.
- Professional appearance. Strong knowledge of construction practices.
- Complete any typical framing and drywall project from start to finish.
- Be able to work overtime and weekends, if needed. (rarely needed)

- Must have reliable transportation.
- Valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Work Crews - Assign tasks, oversee framers, hangers, tapers and ensure productivity.
- Coordinate Daily Operations - Plan work schedules and manage labor.
- Layout for Steel Stud Framing & Drywall - Read blueprints, snap layout and ensure accurate framing per plans.
- Monitor Quality Control - Inspect framing, verify layout, and ensure drywall finishing meets project requirements.
- Resolve On-Site Issues- Troubleshoot framing challenges, adjust layouts as needed and handle unforeseen problems.
- Manage Equipment and Materials - Move materials and equipment between job sites as needed. Track rolling scaffolds, board carts and tools, etc.
- Keep Records and Reports - Communicate progress, safety incidents, safety meetings, material usage and labor hours to Project Manager.
- Enforce Company Policies and Procedures - Maintain discipline, address conflicts and ensure compliance with workplace rules and regulations.
