Pay range:  $19.00 - $23.00/hr DOE Job Summary To straighten and/or qualify the less complex, complicated castings, under available supervision, including units typically other than samples and prototypes consistent with established and accepted standards of quality and quantity. Pay range:  $19.00 - $23.00/hr DOE + 2nd shift differential ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES<ul><li>Examines and feels surface of workplace for defects.</li><li>Starts grinder and moves surface of workplace over to remove imperfections and excess material.</li><li>Operate a stand grinder to remove gates, risers, rough spots and other excess metals from a variety of castings in accordance with specifications.</li><li>The operator works with medium to large size castings.</li><li>Work is subject to inspection and check, with instructions given on new work or variations in requirements.</li><li>The work includes grinding to maintain contours, present smooth surfaces, etc…</li><li>The operator sorts, stacks and moves castings as directed.</li><li>Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized work area.</li><li>Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.</li><li>Ability to work overtime.</li></ul> Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management Sponsorship is not available for this role. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent and consistent basis without company sponsorship now and in the future. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
