<ul><li>Fall 2026</li><li>Spring and Summer 2027</li></ul> JOB SUMMARY Engineering Co-ops will be assigned to New Product Development engineering or Production Engineering working cooperatively with manufacturing to develop robust processes and tooling to support the company’s growth in the industrial and aerospace investment casting markets. Individuals identified as dimensional will focus primarily on dimensional control, the dies, fixtures, gages, and other tooling associated with the manufacture of investment castings. Problem solving, and the concepts & tools of problem solving, are essential to the job. Engineers will be required to identify & define problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to problems that affect yield, rework, and overall quality of the product using a standardized approach (PDCA, Six-Sigma…). Occasionally taking a leadership role in resolving cross-functional problems. The candidate must be able to travel locally periodically to other CPP facilities, customers and vendors to provide problem-solving and technical support. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role requires the ability to follow detailed work instructions, meet production goals, and maintain a safe and organized work area. Foundry Operators contribute directly to product quality and overall operational success.<ul><li>Operate tow motor to move alloy to furnace from crib and load molds into pre-heat overs.</li><li>Load alloy charges onto and into the furnace.</li><li>Load molds into pre-heat ovens.</li><li>Unload molds from oven at 2100 degrees; 15-60 lbs</li><li>Place molds on carts to cool.</li><li>Unload grates.</li><li>Load molds into casting units.</li><li>Unload molds filled with molten metal.</li><li>Perform basic Maintenance around furnace (TPM).</li><li>Help maintain machine when problems occur.</li><li>Perform 6S duties of furnace and foundry.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement efforts.</li><li>Adhere to all policies and procedures with emphasis on safety.</li><li>Support foundry operators as needed.</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Available for 2nd or 3rd Shift Schedules.</li><li>Strong work history.</li><li>Prior manufacturing experience desired.</li><li>Desire to work with your hands in a production environment.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.</li><li>Must be willing to participate in pre-employment drug screening.</li><li>Some positions require vision screening with or without corrective lenses.</li></ul> Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, workstation documents and Product Engineer Instructions (PEI).  Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, and leadership. Ability to read and legibly write numbers and letters. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  REASONING ABILITY - Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardized exists.
