Senior Accountant Job Responsibilities: Handle day-to-day accounting functions in a manufacturing environment. Perform month-end close procedures while adhering to strict deadlines. Collaborate with the accounting team and other departments to apply best practices and open to implement process improvements. Job duties:  <ul><li>Perform month-end closing duties to include preparing and booking journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li> Reconcile sub-ledgers to general ledger account balances.</li><li> Maintain and reconcile bank accounts in the areas of Bank Account GLs, Prepaids, other Liabilities, and Intercompany.</li><li> Support the quarterly and annual audit process and prepare necessary schedules, reconciliations, and analyses.</li><li> Calculate and prepare all royalty billings and payments.</li><li> Assist as needed in the preparation of budgets.</li><li> Assist with Intercompany balancing.</li><li> Perform additional projects, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.  </li></ul>Qualifications  <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.</li><li> Minimum five (5) years of relevant GL accounting experience.</li><li> Foreign entity translation/remeasurement and consolidation experience.</li><li> Skills in analyzing and interpreting financial data in a manufacturing environment.</li><li> Effective listening, written, and verbal communication skills.</li><li> High degree of accuracy in working with large amounts of data.</li><li> Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.</li><li> Ability to complete work on time and meet strict deadlines.</li><li> Proficient with ERP systems and accounting software.</li><li> Skilled in PC applications including MS Office (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) with advanced spreadsheet proficiency.  </li></ul>Desired Qualifications  <ul><li>MBA or CPA.</li><li> Financial data interpretation and analysis experience/skills in a medical device industry.</li><li> SAP proficiency and experience.</li><li> Strong US GAAP and IFRS technical accounting skills, including experience with SFAS 52.</li></ul>
