Equipment Proficiency: Safely utilize equipment including, but not limited to Defibrillator, Automated Blood Pressure Machine, Perform Manual Blood Pressure, Automated Wall Mounted Monitors, Central Station Monitors, Portable Monitor, Portable and Wall Suction, Glucometer, Automated SCD Pump, IV Pump, Feeding Pump, Patient Warmer, Blood/Fluid Warmer, Patient Bed, Omni-cell, wound vac, Hoyer lift. The RN—ICU Staff Nurse shall implement the nursing process in an organized, systematic manner, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, as evidenced by direct observation of the patient, continuous monitoring of lab values and results and imaging results, appropriate notification and communication with provider and other members of the care team, and complete, timely documentation in the chart.

Job Summary: Under direct supervision of the modality supervisor, performs patient examinations and related activities; performs patient exams in accordance with established protocols, demonstrates knowledge of digital environment; reviews images prior to archiving to PACS and for submission to radiologists for interpretation, maintains patient records; assures the correct patient is being imaged in accordance to hospital protocol of checking at least two patient identifiers prior to completing examination, and patient's clinical history is complete; completes associated paperwork, performs QA/QC on equipment, as needed.
