Job Description:** **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform complex diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, tire replacements/flat repairs, brake repairs, electrical diagnostics, and basic structural repairs on tractor and trailer equipment Oversee recall campaigns and sign off on completion + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ABS system and specialized equipment including refrigerated units, lift gates, and frame alignment + May onboard and mentor new technician trainees; act as team lead to coordinate shift support and tasks + Follow all safety requirements while at a customer or rail yard + Professionally operate assigned service truck and according to company requirements; properly attend to service truck parts inventory + Accurately complete work orders and other written materials according to established procedures + Properly document damage to company equipment to estimate the cost of repairs + Demonstrate proficient use of a cutting torch and welding equipment to perform mid-level repairs on chassis, frames, and other equipment + Patch holes in trailer/container side panels and roofs ensuring all holes are sealed and water-tight + Perform annual AA Trailer and FHWA Brake Inspections sign-off **Shift Schedule:** Shifts may vary based upon location and business needs.
