Learning Care Group, Inc. Overview

The Learning Care Group is one of the largest for-profit child care providers on the continent. Through five unique brands, the company gives care and education to children who are between six weeks and 12 years old. The five brands include:

  • Childtime Learning Centers
  • Tutor Time Child Care/Learning Centers
  • The Children's Courtyard
  • Montessori Unlimited
  • La Petite Academy

Each brand takes a different approach to child care and education.

Altogether, the Learning Care Group operates close to a thousand schools across the country, some of which are corporate and some of which are franchises. The company employs about 17,000 directors and teachers.

Learning Care Group, Inc. Job Opportunities

Employment opportunities exist both within Learning Care Group's schools and at its corporate locations. Depending on your skills and experience — and on how much you like children — you may qualify to work as a teacher, assistant teacher, or lead teacher at one of the schools. The schools also welcome drivers and food specialists.

Corporate openings and school management positions require you to be able to analyze situations, take the lead, and make decisions that affect others. For example, you might become an accounts payable lead, an instructional developer, or a director.

Learning Care Group, Inc. Work Culture

Learning Care Group offers an attractive menu of benefits for qualifying employees. For example, teachers may receive a sign on bonus. Other benefits include dental and vision coverage, life insurance, short-term disability insurance, a retirement plan, pet insurance, and identity theft coverage. A robust training program prepares new hires for working in the classroom environment.

You can expect to work alongside supportive team members in an environment that brings great personal satisfaction as well as regular challenges. Many experienced teachers enjoy working in a private school rather than in a public school.
