Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia is a non-profit, private Christian educational institution. Its annual enrollment includes more than 100,000 online students and 13,800 students who attend classes on campus. Previously known as Liberty Baptist College and Lynchburg Baptist College, it was established in 1971. The university motto is "Knowledge Aflame" and students can participate in any of the 522 different educational programs, including 138 graduate and 3 doctoral programs. 349 of the studies are available on campus, while 247 are available to online students.
