Our integrated team of professionals work with clients individually, couples, with family, and in group settings. We are looking for individuals that possess the ability to provide psychotherapy to clients and help them to become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive. Key Result Areas:<ul><li>For residential clients, fulfill the mental health component of the co-occurring licensure requirements, which includes completing the initial mental health screen of all new clients within the first 3 days of arrival into program (GAIN-SS), and subsequently completing the diagnostic assessment (DA) within 10 days.  </li><li>Maintain a minimum of 25 direct client contact hours per week (for full time), or averaging at least 60% of available time as direct client contact if part time. This will include a combination of 1:1 or group psychotherapy, as well as facilitating co-occurring substance use groups.  </li><li>Complete all substance use documentation within the day of service, and mental health documentation within 72 hours of rendering the service.  </li><li>Fulfill expectations on maintaining documentation tracking of clients in the residential site.  </li><li>Attend weekly multidisciplinary clinical staffing meetings.  </li><li>Attend weekly departmental clinical consultation meetings.  </li><li>Number of grievances/maltreatment reports is no greater than 1 per month.</li><li>Pass quarterly peer review internal documentation review process </li></ul>Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)<ul><li>Adhering to MN State Statutes, code of ethics, insurance requirements, and Northstar’s policy and procedures.</li><li>Maintain resident/client records in accordance with Northstar’s policy requirements.</li><li>Complete continuing education courses in current treatment concepts and methods as required by the State of Minnesota to maintain professional license.</li><li>Attend in-house training, all scheduled Northstar/Bridges staff meetings, and consultations.</li><li>Hold a caseload of clients, providing all components of a psychotherapeutic episode of care from DA through termination.</li><li>Coordinate care with all providers that are on the client's care team.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Requirements:Required Skills and Experience: (Minimum requirements in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge skills and abilities)<ul><li>Must be a Licensed Mental Health Professional in the State of Minnesota to be considered for the position.
