Universal Orlando Overview

The Universal Orlando Resort is in Orlando, Florida. It opened in June 1990 and includes two theme parks, an entertainment complex, and four hotels. The two theme parks are Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure, which opened as a joint venture between The Blackstone Group and Universal Entertainment. One of the top attractions at Universal Orlando is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The entertainment complex on the property is called Universal CityWalk Orlando, which features shopping and dining just outside the park. Four resorts also provide guests with easy access to the nearby theme parks.
