Manhattan, Kansas Overview

While Manhattan encompasses both Pottawatomie County and Riley County in Kansas, it's the county seat of Riley County. Manhattan's population is around 52,281. As a homage to New York City's "Big Apple" Manhattan, the city is affectionately called "The Little Apple".
