This role ensures the residence is well-maintained, guest-ready, and supports university events and leadership needs at a high standard. The position is based in the Office of the President and provides occasional support to the President’s Office.</p><h4>Required Qualifications</h4><ul><li>High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)</li><li><p>Three years related work experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for experience</p></li></ul><p><strong>Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:</strong></p><ul><li>Budget tracking and expense management experience</li><li>Attention to detail regarding home systems, with the ability to communicate with appropriate experts as needed</li><li>Experience with event management software or scheduling tools</li><li>Customer service or guest relations background</li></ul><h4>Preferred Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Bachelor's Hospitality, Hotel/Restaurant or related field</li><li>Event management experience<br/><br/>-2–4 years of experience in hospitality, event coordination, facilities management, or a related field preferred<br/>-Experience managing events, vendors, and property or facility operations<br/>-Experience with budget tracking and working with financial processes<br/>-Background in guest services, customer service, or administrative support, preferably in a professional or higher education setting<br/>-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail<br/>-Experience in hospitality, event planning, facilities management, or a related field preferred<br/>-Strong organizational and time management skills<br/>-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<br/>-Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently<br/>-Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of service and presentation<br/>-Experience working with vendors and managing service providers<br/>-Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed for events<br/><br/></li><li>Club management experience or management in a private club setting</li><li>A working knowledge of food, labor, and inventory controls<br/><br/></li><li><strong>Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:</strong><p>-Budget tracking and expense management experience<br/>-Attention to detail regarding home systems, with the ability to communicate with appropriate experts as needed<br/>-Experience with event management software or scheduling tools<br/>-Customer service or guest relations background</p></li></ul>
