Ensure constructive communication between the research oversight committees and investigators, faculty sponsors, department heads, research subjects, and institutional officials, as a means of maintaining a high level of awareness regarding the ethical conduct of research and, when applicable, safeguarding the rights and welfare of subjects. The Research Compliance Administrator manages the privileged and confidential institutional review and approval process of all proposed human and animal research activities at Central Washington University to protect the safety, rights and welfare of human and animal educational/research participants and to support the institution's compliance with state and federal regulations and applicable policies and procedures.
