Location: South Salt Lake, UT Description: Our client is currently seeking a Plant Safety Supervisor, this is a 12 month contract/consulting opportunity!  <ul></ul><div> </div><div>Position Summary: 12 month contract (w2)Onsite: South Salt Lake*Bilingual preferredWe seek a hands-on Plant Safety Specialist to oversee safety programs while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local Utah and South Salt Lake regulations. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day safety initiatives, provide guidance to employees and supervisors, and maintain a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: ·        Implement and oversee EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations. ·        Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance. ·        Lead safety trainings for temporary employees and employees, emphasizing safe work practices. ·        Manage the Be Aware, Take Care Program to increase employees engagement and active participation.·        Oversee incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. ·        Collaborate with teams to improve safety culture and reduce workplace hazards. ·        Act as the site liaison for regulatory inspections, audits, and inquiries. ·        Monitor and report key safety metrics, including incidents and near misses. Qualifications: ·        5 + years of hands-on experience in EHS roles, ideally in a chemical manufacturing environment. ·        Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local Utah/South Salt Lake safety regulations. ·        Proven experience mentoring and inspiring teams and implementing safety programs. ·        Ability to conduct training sessions and communicate safety procedures effectively. ·        Familiarity with hazard assessments, audits, and incident investigations. ·        Strong organizational and leadership skills. </div> Contact: dlagrand@judge.com <div align="center" style="background-color:#999999">This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
