At Park Vista, we believe it is an honor and privilege to care for those who once cared for us.  Our mission is to help our residents live out their best years, so families can return to the important role of a loved one and leave the role of caretaker to our qualified and compassionate team members.We are looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our amazing team and help us focus on our four core values: Dignity, Collaboration, Compassion, and Transparency.  Come join us at Park Vista, where we 'Make It Matter' for our residents, families and team members.    JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician WORKER CATEGORY: Full TimeMAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SHIFT & SCHEDULE:<ul><li>1st Shift 8:00AM - 4:30PM, occasional flexibility</li></ul>MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN BASE WAGE: Up to $20.50 per hour<ul><li>$17.00 - $19.00 per hour </li><li>$1.50 per hour Weekend Shift Differentials</li></ul>MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN BENEFITS:<ul><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) </li><li>Medical Insurance </li><li>Dental Insurance </li><li>Vision Insurance </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>Disability Insurance </li><li>401k after one year of employment </li></ul>MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: <ul><li>Complete flooring projects to flip units quickly. </li><li>Maintenance Technician will help with additional unit flip tasks. </li><li>Complete landscaping projects to keep the appearance of the property pristine </li><li>Maintenance Technician will ensure all vacant units are rent ready and prepped for scheduled admissions. </li><li>Assist with maintenance repairs, painting, carpet cleaning, and preventative maintenance throughout the property as assigned by Director of Maintenance </li><li>Maintain all areas of the building including the grounds, landscaping to include mowing, weeding and trimming of bushes. </li><li>Complete daily walk through of property to ensure safe and homelike environment. </li><li>Manage and check work order system, complete all work orders in a timely manner, document completion or further action as necessary. </li><li>Complete and document scheduled preventative maintenance as assigned by Director of Maintenance </li><li>Assist in completion/scheduling of building inspections (elevator, sprinkler, fire, life safety) per regulations and under the Director of Maintenance </li><li>Maintenance Technician will complete garbage and recycling control and maintain trash rooms to prevent odors </li><li>Assist with snow/ice removal, landscaping, grounds upkeep, exterior maintenance and lawn care </li><li>Assist with cable issues and support – outsource as necessary </li><li>Assist with life safety system (emergency alarm, nurse call) issues and support – outsource as necessary </li><li>Be familiar with the Transportation Driver Job Description / tasks and fill in as requested </li><li>Occasional flexibility as needed. </li></ul>   *A Complete Maintenance Technician Job Description Provided Upon Hire*
