Flexible schedule is available. Our Retail Centers are open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sundays.  Pay: $16.45 Hr. Goodwill of Colorado is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) eligible employer.JOB SUMMARY JOB SUMMARY:The Janitor, Retail is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming retail store. This role ensures every space meets the Goodwill of Colorado retail stores’ standards of hygiene and presentation while providing courteous customer services. The Retail Janitor will perform specific, assigned janitorial duties at an assigned Goodwill of Colorado retail store or outlet while working to ensure Goodwill standards are met or exceeded.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Janitorial:<ul><li style="text-align:left">Clean and disinfect assigned retail store or outlet’s restrooms, employee brake area, and public areas.</li><li style="text-align:left">Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water and/or other cleaners, sponges, and/or squeegees.</li><li style="text-align:left">Sweep and mop floors to ensure slip, trip, and falls hazards are removed timely.</li><li style="text-align:left">When required vacuum carpets, steam-clean carpets/rugs, dust furniture, polish fixtures, and remove marks/stains from walls and other surfaces.</li><li style="text-align:left">Clean and dust store fixtures as required.</li><li style="text-align:left">When required, additional floor maintenance such as applying wax/sealant to coat floors and/or buff, strip, and top scrub floors.</li><li style="text-align:left">Remove trash from offices, restrooms, and other areas in and around the assigned retail store. </li><li style="text-align:left">Adhere to all safety protocols (Goodwill and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)) for proper chemical use and waste disposal. The Retail Janitor will be responsible for using cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean/disinfect commonly touched surfaces. Which may involve mixing various cleaning agents per cleaning standards.</li><li style="text-align:left">When required, larger heavy furniture items may need to be moved to clean surrounding areas.</li><li style="text-align:left">When required shovels snow/ice from sidewalks and sprinkles salt on surfaces to prevent slip, trip, and falls hazards.</li></ul> Customer Service:<ul><li style="text-align:left">Team collaboration is required.</li><li style="text-align:left">May direct customers to the appropriate department or team member for assistance.</li><li style="text-align:left">Report missing or damaged items and report maintenance needs immediately.</li><li style="text-align:left">Adhere to Goodwill’s policies, procedures, and employee handbook.</li><li style="text-align:left">Contribute to a safe working environment for self, customers, and fellow employees.</li><li style="text-align:left">Escalates issues or concerns to store management team in a timely manner.</li><li style="text-align:left">Job duties may extend beyond the tasks listed and may include additional responsibilities as required.  </li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
