Responsibilities: <ul><li> Oversee and manage the financial aspects of project portfolios, ensuring all financial reporting is accurate and timely.</li><li> Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses.</li><li> Conduct regular financial analysis to identify and manage project risks and opportunities.</li><li> Work closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.</li><li> Implement cost accounting practices and procedures to ensure project costs are accurately tracked and reported.</li><li> Provide financial input in project contracts and negotiations.</li><li> Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements relating to project accounting and financial management.</li><li> Develop and implement financial control procedures and systems.</li><li> Use Microsoft Excel to create financial reports, forecasts, and models.</li><li> Work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and decision support.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree or professional certification such as a CPA is preferred.</li><li> A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project accounting role, preferably in the engineering industry.</li><li> Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.</li><li> Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.</li><li> Excellent financial analysis skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets and financial models.</li><li> Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.</li><li> Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.</li><li> Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors and discrepancies in financial data.</li><li> Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound financial decisions.</li><li> Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.</li></ul> Interested in hearing more?
