A workplace wellness screening program is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with dermatology experience to provide skin cancer screenings and general dermatological evaluations onsite within a professional workplace environment in Springfield, IL. Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant/ Medical Doctor/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Corporate Wellness Clinic Location: Springfield, IL. Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099). Pay Rate: $140/hr. Schedule: Wednesday 3/25 and Thursday 3/26 8am-5pm. Mileage reimbursement and 1-night hotel reimbursement provided in accordance with VitalCheck Wellness policy. Full Description: A workplace wellness screening program is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with dermatology experience to provide skin cancer screenings and general dermatological evaluations onsite within a professional workplace environment in Springfield, IL. This role focuses on preventive care initiatives delivered during scheduled workplace wellness clinic events. Providers typically see up to 10 patients per clinic day and must be comfortable practicing autonomously while making independent clinical decisions within their scope of practice. Clinic events are scheduled periodically as part of workplace wellness programming and are not part of a fixed weekly schedule. Administrative coordination is provided for scheduling, patient flow, and clinic logistics.Responsibilities: <ul><li>Set up and prepare the mobile clinic space within corporate environments to support employee wellness initiatives.</li><li>Perform skin checks and skin cancer screenings, consult with patients to evaluate dermatological concerns, and provide appropriate patient education</li><li>Document patient encounters and screening results in accordance with clinical protocols.</li><li>Provide recommendations for follow-up care and refer patients to dermatology specialists when appropriate.</li><li>Deliver patient care independently while maintaining a professional and efficient clinic workflow.</li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Active clean Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license to practice in Illinois. </li><li>Board-certified MD or DO with an active, clean license to practice in Illinois.</li><li>Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of work experience required; candidates must have strong dermatology knowledge and hands-on clinical dermatology experience. </li><li>For NP/PA-A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.</li><li>Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.</li><li>Patient education driven.</li><li>Must be able to reliably commute to Springfield, IL. </li></ul>About Us: We are changing the face of healthcare delivery by bringing high-quality healthcare providers directly into the workplace and virtually. Our team builds up service models and technologies to enable companies to easily set up wellness clinics and other preventive medical services in the office at their selected times. Our team is on a mission to transform the traditional healthcare delivery model to ensure everyone in the workforce can keep up to date with their preventative care needs without disrupting their work schedules
