This position is a member of the Management Review Team for plant Quality Operating System.Essential Job Functions:<ul><li>Overall responsibility to ensure product launch objectives, project capital needs and customer requirements are met.</li><li>Determine plant procedures and policies.</li><li>Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports.</li><li>Approve department expenses and appropriation requests per guidelines.</li><li>Ensure appropriate staffing and employee development.</li><li>Establish and monitor plant KOP'S.</li><li>Support plant safety rules, work force contract and company policies and procedures.</li><li>Ensure that appropriate manning and scheduling is done to support customer requirements.</li><li>Participate as a member of the plant Management Review Team for IATF16949.</li><li>Assist plant in source selection and strategic planning.</li><li>Effectively communicate company Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and Procedures.</li><li>Management/Executive Safety Committees.</li><li>Set plant and departmental H, S & E objectives and frequently monitor progress.</li><li>Engage everyone in the safety process.</li><li>One-on-one safety contact with employees.</li><li>Adopt a process where all personnel are held accountable for safety activities and violations to the H, S & E Policy.</li><li>Spot-check and periodically attend supervisor/leader safety talk meetings.</li><li>Provide the necessary resources and support safety initiatives.</li><li>Recognize outstanding performers.</li><li>Lead by Example.</li></ul>Deliverables:<ul><li>Overall plant goals and objectives</li><li>Employee training and development</li><li>Annual financial planning</li></ul>Requirements and Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree and/or 7-10 years of experience in management position with manufacturing operation.</li><li>Manufacturing of automotive products such as composites, plastics, injection molded parts, body panels is strongly recommended.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills at a management level position.</li><li>Good working knowledge of development and budget planning financial.</li><li>Strong management skills (decision making, problem solving, staff development and motivation)</li><li>Familiar with standards of good business conduct and ethics.</li></ul>
