Job Details Position Overview We are seeking a Contract Accountant with Accounts Payable experience to support AP operations within an SAP environment. This role will focus on managing payment processes, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and experience working within SAP. Key Responsibilities 	• Monitor and reconcile outstanding checks to ensure timely resolution and accurate financial reporting. 	• Process check voids and reissues in accordance with established procedures. 	• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and errors, coordinating with internal teams and vendors as needed. 	• Review and analyze outstanding deposits to ensure proper application and reconciliation. 	• Perform posted document adjustments within SAP, including blocking, editing, and reversing transactions when necessary. 	• Respond to accounts payable inquiries from internal stakeholders and provide support on payment-related questions. Qualifications 	• Experience working in Accounts Payable or Accounting roles. 	• Strong knowledge of SAP financial systems. 	• Ability to research discrepancies and resolve financial issues efficiently. 	• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 	• Effective communication and organizational skills. Additional Information This is a contract assignment expected to last 3–6 months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs related to merger timelines and staffing decisions.
