In this position, you will master your trade through a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction. We will cover the cost of your college tuition in a related manufacturing program. Upon completion of this 2 year / 4,000 hour program, the Connecticut Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship Training provides an industry recognized certificate of completion. Principle Duties & Responsibilities<ul><li>Gain technical knowledge and TRUMPF product knowledge through participation in classroom training at TRMPF Training Department.</li><li>Gain founded technical knowledge through successful completion of courses provided by colleges and/or technical institutions.</li><li>Gain knowledge of TRUMPF internal processes through completion of assignments in various departments. </li><li>Complete written reports after completion of each training segment to document training outcome.</li><li>Participate in projects, Continuous Improvement and SYNCHRO activity.</li><li>Travel to customer locations and/or other TRUMPF facilities in the US for training purposes. </li><li>Apply knowledge and skills gained by joining the field service team after successful completion of apprenticeship program.</li></ul>ExperienceShould have excellent learning skills and good communication and listening skills. Ability to follow instructions and organize to complete tasks fully and on time. Must be eligible to rent a vehicle for travel to customer and must have a valid license. Should be able to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.
