Disclosure processes involve coordinating/authorizing release of classified information and material, review of US industry export licenses applications, foreign national visits to 15 AF assigned and tenant bases, as well as defense contractor facilities, placement of foreign officials within Air Force HQ, subordinate units and industry organizations, delegation of disclosure authority to field foreign disclosure offices, exceptions to NDP and documenting disclosure actions. The FDO assists in the organization and management of foreign disclosure initiatives/activities that establish Air Force wide information release and technology transfer policy and guidelines for international programs, within assigned portfolio, especially those involving C2, mission generation elements, combat support capabilities and related systems and training.
