Knowledge of: carpentry skills required to perform many aspects of building repairs; basic plumbing knowledge including knowledge on how to drain plumbing in facilities in the fall and turn them back on in the spring; basic building procedures with the ability to read building plans and estimate material needs; communication skills to solve conflicts with visitors, volunteers, and/or seasonal staff; safe operating guidelines for equipment; methods and practices of general building and facility maintenance.
