Involved in the full end-to-end accounting cycle for North American entities, including general ledger entries and analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactionsPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPSupport month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysisPerform and review balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and payroll-related reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerReview and reconcile payroll transactions in partnership with HR and payroll providers, including oversight of multi-state payroll tax activitySupport preparation and review of required state payroll tax filings and annual state reportingEnsure compliance with internal controls, corporate accounting policies, and local statutory requirementsCollaborate with internal stakeholders and shared service centers across multiple regions and time zonesAssist with internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting documentationSupport group reporting, consolidation activities, and ad hoc financial analysesIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, systems, and controlsParticipate in special projects and perform additional duties as needed.
