A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in the wine industry. 3. Extensive experience in managing multiple entities and dealing with complex financial analysis. 4. Proficiency in cost accounting and managing general ledger. 5. Experience with insurance renewals and managing federal and state excise taxes. 6. Proficiency in using NetSuite software or equivalent financial management software. 7. Strong forecasting abilities and strategic planning skills. 8. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. 9. Review and forward Subcontractor Extra Work/Time & Material invoices. Aggressively pursue past due Accounts Receivable on projects. Provide monthly reports to Project Managers including job cost, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and profit/loss analysis. Provide project compliance forms as needed (i.e.: monthly DBE forms, releases certified payroll, etc.). Assist in timely close out of all projects – including releases, DBE forms and Guarantees.
