Responsible for the assessment of education needs and the coordination and implementation of staff development in assigned area. Familiar with American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) format and expectations of professional development and continuing education content creation and delivery. Coordinates/participates in orientation and other organization-wide education activities. Serves as subject matter expert to assist staff as well as provide input into policy and procedure development and maintenance utilizing evidence-based practices. Fosters lifelong learning.Experience in working with inpatient eating disorder populations, as approximately 20 hours of the role will be dedicated to this specialty—serving both a small portion of the pediatric population and the adult units.
