Required:<ul><li> Available to train on 1st shift for first few weeks</li><li> Must be familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components.</li><li> Must be able to properly clean boards.</li><li> Strong dexterity to properly use soldering irons and will include exposure to heat.</li><li> Able to perform basic soldering and rework of SMT components.</li><li> Able to perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies.</li><li> Able to perform re-work for Thru Hole Components.</li><li> Able to interpret IPC standards for 610/7711 and acceptability along with meeting customer specifications.</li><li> Must be familiar with and able to use hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, etc.</li><li> Perform house-keeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.</li><li> Professionally and effectively communicate both verbally and written with coworkers and management.</li><li> Ability to read, interpret and analyze data and resolve defects as required.</li><li> Continuously improve testing function</li><li> A self-starter with good organizational skills and analytical skills with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.</li><li> High School Diploma</li></ul> Preferred:<ul><li> 3-5 Years as SMT Operator or Rework Operator</li><li> Valid IPC Certification or previously certified</li></ul> Occupational Exposures:<ul><li> Regularly Required: Repetitive movement of hands and fingers</li><li> May involve continuous or repetitive reaching with hands and arms.</li><li> An Employee is required to lift 1 to 10 pounds constantly</li><li> An employee may be required to lift 10 to 25 pounds occasionally</li><li> Employee may lift up to 50 pounds on rare occasions.</li><li> An employee may be required to twist at the waist.</li><li> Exposure to soldering paste, hot soldering irons, solder pots and other chemicals as necessary.</li></ul> Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
