This role will work with minimum supervision on multiple equipment support tasks including but not limited to: building/modifying desktop computers to support the needs of the scientists and their lab instruments, working with and learning a wide range of software packages that support instrument control, data acquisition, data processing and data archival, and working with vendors on-site and remotely to support instrument installation and troubleshooting. + Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science or a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physics or related discipline with an associated educational or employment-based skillset in computer hardware and software.
