General Counsel

Counsel to Aeronautics’ company and program executive leaders and business teams in support of all AMMM programs including C-130, C-5, P-3, and LM-100J, as well as legacy commercial aircraft (CAP). You will be the Associate General Counsel - Director to lead the Legal team at our site in Marietta, GA as part of the Senior Leadership for Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Programs.

Description:You will be the Associate General Counsel - Director to lead the Legal team at our site in Marietta, GA as part of the Senior Leadership for Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Programs.What You Will Be Doing:<ol><li>Counsel to Aeronautics’ company and program executive leaders and business teams in support of all AMMM programs including C-130, C-5, P-3, and LM-100J, as well as legacy commercial aircraft (CAP). Collaborates with leadership on strategy and operational issues, directly supporting the AMMM General Manager and senior staff. The position requires on-site presence for close collaboration.</li><li>Prepares contract language, advises on contract and subcontract terms, and analyzes and mitigates legal risks on contracts and agreements valued in the hundreds of millions or billions of dollars. Reviews and modifies letters of intent, memoranda of understanding, and related agreements with foreign governments and domestic/international subcontractors.</li><li>Participates in negotiations with U.S. and foreign government legal counsel, subcontractor, and supplier legal teams on complex legal matters. Assists with negotiation and settlement of major prime contracts, teaming agreements, and supplier negotiations.
