The Manager – Data Center Operations is responsible for employee training and ensuring all staff is adequately qualified to perform required duties. Shift coverage and schedule are the duties of the Manager – Data Center Operations. The individual must possess strong management and interpersonal skills. The Manager – Data Center Operations is responsible for evaluations and coaching of his or her direct reports. Regular team and induvial meetings are required.Duties:<ul><li>Advise the Director – Data Center Operations in the development and supervision of the facility maintenance program and equipment/system operation.</li><li>Demonstrate technical knowledge and experience in telecom, cabling, electrical and mechanical support systems to include power distribution systems, emergency power, UPS systems, D/C power, HVAC, and fire alarm and suppression systems.</li><li>Ensure data center operates at maximum operational efficiency, including analyzing existing operating conditions, recommending new technologies, and improving overall efficiency and cost reduction.
