Financial Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our manufacturing operations with data driven insights and financial guidance. This role plays a key part in tracking performance, analyzing variances, and partnering with operations to improve cost efficiency and decision-making. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded </li><li>Updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations </li><li>Tracking outgoing payments </li><li>Monitoring company expenditures (including payroll) </li><li>Maintaining records </li><li>Verifying expense reports, as needed </li><li>Maintaining petty cash </li><li>Maintaining PCard usage and reconciliation </li><li>Reviewing vendor and service provider agreements, as needed </li><li>Tracking and paying sales and use tax </li><li>Analyzing financial information and preparing balance sheets reconciliations, as requested </li><li>Assist with the preparation of budgets </li><li>Ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and federal and state regulations </li><li>Resolving account payable issues or queries </li><li>Handling the month-end and year-end closing process </li><li>Ensuring all suppliers are paid accurately and on time </li><li>Responding to supplier queries in an appropriate and timely manner </li><li>Liaising with administration staff in other locations on accounts payable matters </li><li>Ensuring accounts payable records are filed correctly and efficiently </li><li>Waste reports for operations </li><li>Work collaboratively with accounting staff and other departments to ensure accuracy in finances </li><li>Consistently performing all day-to-day financial transactions including reliably and accurately verifying, sorting, calculating, posting and recording the department's data </li><li>Organized, detail-oriented with strong communications skills </li><li>Prepare other statistical reports and job duties as needed. </li></ul>Supporting Tasks<ul><li>Cross training with accounts receivable duties and responsibilities </li><li>Updating accounts receivable and issue invoices </li><li>Resolving accounts receivable issues or queries </li><li>Process receiving </li><li>Secure proper tools for each task </li><li>Communicate suggestions and recommend solutions to problems to provide for an efficient operation </li><li>Approach work assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member </li><li>Other job duties as assigned </li></ul>Why You'll Love Working for Us: <ul><li>Wellness Programs and access to Worksite Wellness Center, including family members. </li><li>Comprehensive Benefit Package including Medical, Dental, Vision coverages. </li><li>Insurance: Life, Supplemental Life, Short and Long-Term Disability. </li><li>401(K) Match </li><li>Paid Vacation and Holidays </li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) </li><li>PPE allowances </li></ul>What We Need From You: <ul><li>Over three months, up to one year of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment </li><li>Strong Excel skills required </li><li>Odyssey experience preferred </li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills </li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments </li><li>Degree or Experience in finance, accounting, economics, or related field preferred </li><li>Comfortable visiting production-floor environment when needed </li><li>Able to explain financial concepts to non-financial teams </li></ul> As a Fair Chance employer, Grede is committed to considering individuals who are rebuilding after past challenges.
