As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue05:45 PM - 06:00 AMWed05:45 PM - 06:00 AMThur05:45 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior. • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols. • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while upholding site-specific protocols. • Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location. What We're Looking For: • Availability across various days and shifts • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: • An armed guard card or license is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
